On-line Help System

FF&EZ includes a full, context-sensitive Help system that appears when you press your keyboard's [F1] key. That system is also available on the web using this link.

Requirements, Operating Configurations

 FF&EZ is a completely self-contained database manager and does not require any extra software beyond the Windows operating system. It runs under Microsoft Windows XP through 11, using any business-class computer with a minimum of 100 MB of free disk space. Ultimate disk space requirements will vary based on your use of graphic images, but most systems do not exceed 100-250 GB). FF&EZ will run on a Mac through the use of Windows-emulators such as Parallels, however you can use Remote Desktop for Mac when connecting to a Windows terminal server. Note: This software does not run on the more limited Windows S operating system.

The multi-user version runs on a Windows terminal server, using multiple desktop capabilities available in Microsoft Server (including Windows cloud servers such as those offered by Amazon AWS and similar services). This configuration is also supported by 3rd party services such as Citrix or inexpensive terminal server emulators such as ThinStuff XP/VS, TSPlus, etc. Please contact us if you have any questions about installation scenarios.

In multi-user systems, more than one person can access a project at the same time. The only limitation is being able to change the same record (e.g., a single specification or a single room's properties) at the same time. Note that the single-user license allows you to set up multiple users, meaning that different people can have named log-ins (but can't use it at the same time).

You can download or display the current price list for FF&EZ. The two major versions of FF&EZ are both available as either a single-user workstation and multi-user site and corporate licenses. If needed, we can also quote user configurations from 2 to 5 users upon request. Company checks, ACH bank transfers and major credit cards are accepted.
