This section describes how to use the optional "Orders Export" plug-in. This plug-in is available for an additional licensing fee for FF&EZ-Design systems, and adds the capability of converting and exporting FF&E Worksheet data into purchasing data in a variety of basic formats. It is designed to be used with 3rd-party purchasing systems at the point in the process where an approved project or quote is ready to be moved into purchasing mode.
If you have purchased the Order Export plug-in, your opening screen will look similar to this, with the "ORDER EXPORT" flag below the FF&E Worksheet button. The basic procedure for the export process is identical to that used in the full FF&EZ-Design/Purchasing system, since the same setup screen is used for both. In addition to the basic export formats, an additional plug-in can be developed to create a custom export format designed to be compatible with specific purchasing or accounting systems. |
